Summer Fun

Well I am going to try to back blog all of our fun summer adventures since I got behind and just didn't blog all summer. The kids got to start off summer with a fun camping trip at Otter Creek with daddy and our friends Wade, Lindsey, Brett, and Paityn Christensen. They fished, played by the water and of course had way too much yummy food.

Young Women's Camp 2008

OK, so can we just say that it has basically been all summer since I have posted. It has been a very fun and busy summer. OK so I was suppose to be able to go for two full days and one night to girls camp, but after my compressor on my fridge decided to go out the night before, my trip was cut short so I could go shopping for a new fridge. But here are some pics of us having fun with the girls while I got to go up. Our Camp Theme.
Our YW's Presidency showing our goofy side.
Sister Thomas with Cara, Sydney, and Shelby.
Me, Amy, and Dana with a few of the girls showing our 2SW pride (2'000 Stripling Warriors, our hero we picked for camp)
Amy & I proud of how we decorated our Cabin!
Now, for the fun Rock Wall.
The ascent.
Still ascending....
Almost to the top, I wanted to ring the bell at the very top but my arms said "NO MORE" so I gracefully glided down. LOL!
Andie & Kellie used their hair to help them look like male warriors for our skit. All in all I think the girls testimonies were strenghtened and everyone had a fun time.

Spring Recital

The girls did such an awesome job at this performance. We sat in the front row and were able get some really good video that you can watch below (make sure you scroll to the bottom of the right column of my page and turn off the music on the Juke box first so you can hear the cute music on the video). Allison's dance teacher Sharon Wall said that she improved tremendously from the beginning of the year and that she was so proud. She also said that Alexis' facial expression when the girls are licking their lollipops was her favorite and made her laugh every time they practiced the dance. These performances are the girls favorite. They stayed in dance just so they could wear real make-up and dance on the stage. They loved it. Good job girls.

On To Kindergarten

Alexis is officially in Kindergarten now. Her preschool graduation was a lot of fun. They have learned a lot this year and Alexis is getting so good at recognition of letters and writing. We are so proud of Alexis and the beautiful little lady she is becoming. I'll let you see for yourself all the things they have learned this year in the video and tons of pictures that follow. Does her outfit look familiar? Allison wore it on her Graduation from Mrs. Paula's Preschool! Pretty Cute!

What An Honor

Well as you can tell I have been busy these last few weeks since Mother's Day with all of the end of School activities I'm a little behind on my postings. But I can't leave out how special of a Mother's Day I had. Robert and the kids made my day so wonderful I was in tears several times just over come with gratitude for what wonderful, loving children I have. The girls each made me a special card at school, and all three of them made me at least a dozen more beautiful pictures. They helped Daddy pick out some beautiful Tulips and daddy framed the most precious picture yet of all three of my babies. He also printed on the picture "Your The Best Mommy Ever". Allison's card is the larger one and the letter is so sweet I thought I would share what she wrote:

Dear Mom, May 9, 2008

I Love you so much.

I love you because you cook me yamy stuff.

Do you know how much I love you?

Do I love you? Yes

I do love you.

I hope you never forget me.

Love,

Allison

Does that just choke up some tears or what? She wrote it all on her own and her hand writing is so nice. Now Alexis' had a poem on the inside that said:

A flower for my Mother

Is the nicest kind of thing

That I can ever think of

That I can ever bring

My mother says she loves it

I knew it all the while......

From the way it makes her hug me

And the way it makes her smile.

Let's just say I have some pretty awesome kids that I love more than words can express. Thanks for making my special day, one that I will always remember.

P.S. I love you!

New Hair Styles

A couple of days after Allison's Birthday we decided to cut her hair. The length reached down to the small of her back, so we cut about six inches off and cut bangs with really cute layers. She wore her new Roxy outfit Auntie Shaela and Family got for her and her cute new head band from Grammers. She looks like such a grown up 7 year old! Then within a few days after that she lost two side teeth on the top and one new permanent tooth has already come through the gum. Lots of changes.
Well I also got my hair done the day before Mother's Day and have waited six months to get a touch-up because I was in I guess you could say a little depression from having so much hair loss. Every time I take a shower and wash and comb my hair like a fist full of hair falls out. So now it is so thin you can see through it when I make it curly. Let's just say getting my hair done made me feel like a brand new Woman.

Happy 7th Birthday Allison!

Here are some pics of Allison and all her friends at the party!

Aloha! What a fun 7Th Birthday party we had for Allison. We had her party on her actual Birthday 4/26/08. It was from 11:30-1:00pm and the theme was a Hawaiian Luau. We had a pool, water guns, water balloons, food, and about 25 guests. Allison was in Heaven. So this little video clip is Allison inviting you to her party which she thought of and dressed herself and where she learned the dance moves is still a mystery.

We Love Daddy

After the Gym a few days ago, Anthony, Alexis, and I wanted to do something special for Daddy cause the kids have really been missing him lately since he has been spending a few hours after his long 10 hour day at work doing appraisals. So we thought we would make him an X-tra yummy Ham sandwich. I let the kids try to make Daddy's sandwich look like him with lots of yummy candies. I think they did a great job. We love you so much Daddy!!
