Mormon Miracle Pageant

Talk about a really neat experience-People come from all over to see a live play of the Prophet Joseph Smith's life mixed in with the story of the pioneers and Christ coming to the America's. The Pageant is performed on the hill side underneath the Manti Temple. They don't even start until around 9:30 so it is totally dark and have a lot of lights to light up the hillside. My sister Shaela and her family drove down with their ward from Elko Nevada just for the Pageant and to do Baptisms for the dead. So Shaela and Kenny stayed in Manti and we got to have all four of her kids spend the night at our house. My Dad and his new wife Valerie decided to go on a road trip to go visit all of their kids so they got to my house the same day that I went to Young Women's Camp (see my earlier post) on 6/18/08. So they went with us too. Allison, Brayden and Melayna being silly waiting for the Pageant to start.

Hey - you're back! Looks like a lot of fun, and the temple is beautiful. (Ours is prettier, though!!) I'm looking forward to reading about your summer.
